Research

Research is a vital part of the Department's work and we welcome research students to come and join us. We welcome those who might be interested in pursuing research under the direction of members of the Department, who between them can offer a highly distinctive blend of experience and academic expertise, unique in the field of education in this country.

The Department is also home to the Centre for Education and Employment Research (CEER) - directed by Professor Alan Smithers and Dr Pamela Robinson.
