Before joining Buckingham, Eddie worked as a statistician in the Cabinet Office and in two London local authorities (Hammersmith and Haringey). His degrees are in Natural Sciences and in Economics & Statistics, and his interests are in the application of statistics in a variety of scientific fields. He is a member of the Department of Management and was previously head of the Psychology Department 1998-2001. He was Dean of the School of Sciences at Buckingham from 1989 – 1995, and Head of the Psychology Department from 1997 – 2001. He is now a member of the Business School, and though much of his teaching is to undergraduate and postgraduate students in management, he also teaches courses for psychology, economics and accounting students. Eddie is also the Programme Director for undergraduate Business & Management.
