18 August 2009 – Clore Laboratory wins grant from Danish agency for Science, Technology and Innovation
In collaboration with Bridge Bioresearch, Copenhagen, the Clore Laboratory has been granted funding of DKK 100,000 for a research project on modified monounsaturated fatty acids as weight reducing compounds. The award requires matched funding on the overall project from Bridge Bioresearch.
This is the first time that such an award by the Danish authorities has been made for a collaboration outside Denmark.
The research project will be to undertake preliminary bench marking studies on 2-hydroxyoleic acid on energy balance.
