Launch of the CIM Study Centre

Buckingham Business School's CIM Study Centre launched its first term with students commencing their professional studies in marketing on 2 September 2009. Some of the CIM students are pictured here, and are studying at Certificate level (all of whom are completing this academic year), and two of the students are at Diploma level. Pictured with the new students are Dr Jane Tapsell (Dean of the Business School), Anneke Edmonds (CIM Programme Director) and Tina Baquet. Tina's day job is as Business Development Manager at SpaFinder Europe, and she is teaching Marketing Essentials to the Certificate level students. Meet the faculty

Anneke Edmonds

Anneke Edmonds

Born in Germany and raised in the USA, Anneke Edmonds returned to Europe after achieving her BA from Tulane University, New Orleans, USA. She has worked as a marketing consultant in a variety of industries: retail, stationery, high tech software, Offshore banking, New Media promotions, and not-for-profit organisations. She has a particular interest in entrepreneurship and in 2005 she began teaching Adult Education classes in 'How to start up your own Business'. This lead to teaching and programme management of CIM courses in Milton Keynes, London, Moscow and she recently joined the faculty at S.P.Jain Business School in Dubai. She is researching her MPhil / DPhil in the Marketing of Services at the University of Buckingham. A Fellow of CIM, and a Chartered Marketer, Anneke is passionate about educating businesses and individuals in marketing best practice.

Jorge Correia

Jorge Correia

Dr Jorge Pinto Correia currently works as a Commercial Analyst. His primary role is that of an internal consultant, supporting the senior management team in projects ranging from business process improvement to establishing customer service strategies. Jorge's undergraduate degree is in Computer Science with Business Economics, and his postgraduate qualification is in Service Management. His doctorate is on the identification of essential knowledge co-creation processes for effective organisational transformation of service organisations.

Nigel Adams

Nigel Adams

Nigel is Programme Director, BSc Business Enterprise at the University of Buckingham and Managing Director of Nigel Adams & Company Ltd. Nigel is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), a Chartered Marketer and the Vice-Chairman of the East Midlands region of the Institute.


Tina Baquet

Tina Baquet

Tina holds a Masters degree in Psychology, Sociology and Education from the Universitaet des Saarlandes, Saarbruecken, Germany. She also holds the CIM professional Certificate in Marketing and works as Business Development Manager for world's leading spa marketing and gifting company.
