Introduction to undergraduate degrees

At Buckingham, our aim is to enable all students to develop their potential. On graduation you will be able to contribute to the creation of effective business information systems in a real-world environment or help to develop state-of-the-art computing and communications systems.

The small size of the University allows a degree of interaction between staff and students that is rarely found elsewhere. This is particularly so in Applied Computing. Small group tutorials are an important element in all our courses. Many include supervised practical classes as well. In addition, our ratio of computers to students is one of the best in the country and currently stands around 1:1.

There are two ways in which you can apply to the Department of Applied Computing: either through UCAS or direct by using the downloadable application form or online application form available from the website. Our Admissions Officer, Cherrianne Boniface, is always happy to help with any questions you might have.
