The Friends hold at least four social events annually. These have included cheese and wine evenings, garden parties, barbecues, dinners, Sunday lunches, theatre trips and welcome teas for new students.

Our annual Quiz Night is always very enjoyable – just the thing to while away a winter’s evening when the excitements of Christmas have faded. If you can, make up a team of up to six people: perhaps a group of friends, or why not join with colleagues from a local club or society? Naturally all members and their friends are welcome, and we’ll make up further teams for those who find it easier to sign up individually.
Brains of Buckingham will be held in the Masons’ Building in Hunter Street, behind Yeomanry House. Fish and Chips will be served at 19:00, with the Quiz beginning at 19:30.
The cost of the evening is £10.00 per person, to include your Fish and Chips and soft drinks. If you’d rather drink something a little stronger, you are welcome to bring your own.
